Transforming a Company's Web Technology Infrastructure

Over the course of a year, the Bosch Home Appliances North American website underwent some momentous changes. Bosch not only revamped their entire database-fed back-end system, but also incorporated a new Content Management System (CMS) – all of which had to be rolled out to country-specific websites around the world. During the process, we were there every step of the way to ensure a smooth migration from the old technology platform to the more full-featured version. After the transition was complete, we also developed a comprehensive internet marketing program to help Bosch North America improve their awareness and demand generation activities.

Stabilizing an Outdated Website until a Newer, More Stable Site could be Created

When we first met with Bosch, they were dealing with an old, unstable website that crashed often and offered little in the way of customer analytics or tracking reports. The marketing department was forced to deal with technology issues rather than being able to focus on improving and updating the site. We were able to stabilize the older platform by identifying some site-wide faults, implementing fixes, and improving the process for updating its large product database.
 
 

Migrating Key Components to a New Technology Platform for a Seamless Transition

Once Bosch was ready to transition to their new, global back-end database and CMS, we stepped in as the lead interactive agency to ensure the migration rolled out smoothly within the U.S. Bosch changed their domain name and URL structure, so we ensured that their original search engine rankings were seamlessly maintained. Bosch transitioned to their new CMS, which we customized for both the US and Canada.

Enhancing Bosch's Marketing and Demand Generation Abilities

For the final phase of their technology migration, Bosch sought dramatic improvements in their marketing and demand generation activities. We developed a series of targeted microsites and email campaigns to support key product initiatives and announcements. We then integrated the Adobe Omniture Suite to improve their ability to create customized marketing programs.
