Felt Bicycles, a global manufacturer of high-performance bicycles, had a dilemma.  They needed a website that highlighted not only their broad range of bikes and core culture, but also product engineering methods, design process, specifications, geometry and an abundance of other information - all without making customers click through numerous pages to find what they needed. 

They also faced challenges as a global company with website content that needed to be localized and updated for each country in which they operated.  The Content Management System that they were using for updates was not providing the speed, flexibility and features they needed.

Creating a Unique, Drop Down Menu Design for Easy Navigation While Shopping

Typical Felt Bicycle customers are biking enthusiasts who pride themselves on their in-depth knowledge of a bike's features and specifications.  Felt knew it was important to provide these customers with detailed specs on each bike in their broad product line, but were concerned about the number of clicks it took to find this information.  We designed and implemented a unique, drop down menu system that displays a bike's photo and specifications – all without leaving the main product page.

Implementing an Innovative Dealer Locater System to Provide Quick Access to Felt Authorized Resellers

Felt sells 100% of their bikes through authorized resellers, thus, they need to provide buyers with a straightforward way to find a nearby dealer.  We integrated Google Maps, allowing buyers to quickly locate and get directions to a reseller.  In addition, we tied the dealer locater system to Felt's own ERP database – Microsoft Dynamics - to ensure their published dealer information stays current.
 
 

Integrating Web Blocks Content Management System to Make Updating Content Quick and Easy

The Content Management System Felt was using to update its website content was not providing the ease of use and level of functionality needed to quickly update their broad product line.  We integrated Web Blocks, our own full-featured Content Management System, allowing Felt staff in each country to speedily update web content.  Web Blocks not only improved staff efficiency but also the accuracy of the information provided on the Felt site.
