THE CHALLENGE

Transforming a Website into a Marketing Engine

US Tile, the largest clay tile manufacturer in the United States, faced a number of challenges.  First, the Flash functionality used throughout its website design meant they weren't highly ranked by organic search engines such as Google.  In other words, potential customers couldn't easily find them on the web.  Secondly, the job of updating their extensive line of roofing tile products using traditional HTML coding methods was both cumbersome and time consuming.  Finally, their website wasn't designed to engage directly with several key groups of influencers – namely roofing contractors and architects.
To increase sales and improve productivity, they needed a new website design that was not only visually appealing and easy to navigate, but one that was specifically designed to achieve high rankings among search engines and afford quick and easy content updates.

Implementing Web Blocks Content Management System to Make Updating Content Quick and Easy

We developed Web Blocks, our own full-featured Content Management System, in response to customers who need a quick and easy way to update web content without having to know HTML programming.  By using Web Blocks, US Tile found they were able to dramatically increase the speed with which they could update product information ensuring their website was always current.

Creating Contractor and Architect Landing Pages to Connect with Key Influencers

US Tile knew that roofing contractors and architects play a major role in influencing the decision to purchase their products, and needed a better way to both engage and educate these groups about them.  We designed contractor and architect landing pages that make it easy to find information on US Tile products, including installation guides, downloadable brochures, and warranty information.
