Interactive Art Director


The Interactive Art Director position reports to the Chief Creative Officer and works in close collaboration with the business development, technology and UX teams. The IAD’s responsibilities include developing creative concepts that compellingly align with client business goals and managing creative needs throughout each project.

Leadership:
  • Present creative concepts and designs to executive-level client stakeholders
  • Define and adhere to scope of design phases of projects accurately and efficiently
  • Advocate and inspire the Web Advanced team towards greater excellence in new platforms and technologies for digital channels
  • Identify improvements in company processes, make recommendations that impact project outcomes, identify opportunities for growth within the digital space
Responsibilities:
  • Listen and thoughtfully communicate with clients
  • Accurately define project challenges based on client business goals
  • Collaborate with business development, HTML/CSS/UX and technology teams
  • Develop creative solutions that are compelling, strategic and relevant to the client’s audience
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing and the creative process
  • Creation of creative brief, sitemap, information architecture, storyboards, content matrix, mood boards, design mockups, style guides
  • Provide direction and leadership to designers working on a project
  • Oversee design quality and integrity through the production process to launch
  • Collaborate and provide direction to copywriters, motion graphics professionals, photographers, participation in photo shoots
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, document management tools
  • Experience in information architecture, user interface design, art direction on photo shoots
  • Position requires significant time on the computer (keyboarding, mouse clicking), making phone calls, participating in meetings, and limited travel to client sites

Salary Range:
Compensation will be competitive with industry standards and determined based on experience and portfolio.
